About The Position

Miller Electric is hosting a Manufacturing Interview and Hiring Day on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, for multiple first-shift manufacturing openings across its divisions. Applicants may express interest in one or more roles; the team will review applications and contact selected candidates to schedule an interview and provide event details. Specific responsibilities and qualifications vary by role and division. Available roles include Assembler, Coil Winder, and Material Handler. Assemblers perform tasks such as engine preparation, base and front panel assembly, wiring, testing, and shipping, and may rotate between tasks and help train others. Coil Winders support coil winding and related production work, including assembly, rotor transfer, wire alignment, testing, blocking, cable grinding or feeding, and moving wire materials. Material Handlers receive, inspect, store, and deliver materials; operate forklifts; complete shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions; support cycle counts; and maintain accurate inventory records. All roles require a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Miller Electric seeks reliable, self-motivated team members who communicate well, take personal accountability, and focus on safety, quality, and customer needs. Candidates must be willing to cross-train and support other production tasks as needed. Assemblers and Coil Winders must be willing to work flexible shifts during peak production and overtime as required, including up to 12-hour days and weekend work. Specific schedules will be discussed during the hiring process. Physical requirements vary by role. Assemblers frequently lift, push, or pull 10–25 pounds and occasionally handle 25–45 pounds. Coil Winders occasionally push or pull 30–100 pounds and lift or carry 10–50 pounds. Both roles involve standing, repetitive hand use, reaching, and walking, with standing for up to 12 hours per day. Material Handlers stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; approximately 25–40% of the role involves computer and handheld scanner use. ITW is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair treatment throughout the hiring process and employment relationship. Qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to protected characteristics under applicable law.
