About The Position

The Utility/Cleaning Person on the Cook Side (CS) maintains deli production areas by clearing debris, emptying gray bins into waste barrels, hosing down and returning bins to designated locations, and cleaning floors. The role also supplies Frank Form Film rolls and boxes to the production line as needed. Work takes place around machinery and involves bending or stooping to reach bins, lifting bins, and shoveling waste debris into barrels. Workers also help dump barrels of condemned product as needed. Barrels are filled to approximately 13 inches below the top; at that level they can weigh up to 90 pounds and require a two-person lift, or 45 pounds per person. The listed pay rate is $17.00, and the shift is day shift.

Requirements

• Able to work independently.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, including reading and writing.
• Basic math aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders to heights of 40 to 170 feet.
• Able to work in confined spaces, including feedmill silos.
• Must submit to and pass a criminal background check.
