About The Position

The Utility Person maintains and beautifies buildings and grounds, vehicles, forklifts, components, and shop floors. The position completes deliveries and pickups, maintains and cleans vehicles, secures buildings and grounds at the end of the day, inspects shipments, and performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting. The role works under close supervision and contributes to a safe, clean work environment and the team’s service standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
PC skills.
Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing.
Must be forklift certified or able to become certified within 60 days.
Ability to multitask and complete assignments.
Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Complete deliveries and pickups by driving a truck or van to and from assigned locations.
Maintain vehicles by washing, cleaning, and detailing them; keeping them fueled; completing preventive maintenance requirements; and arranging repairs.
Secure buildings and grounds at the end of the day.
Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping buildings, grounds, components, vehicles, and work areas neat and organized and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain buildings and grounds through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Check, inspect, and verify shipments.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
