Utility Person
About The Position
The Utility Person supports plant, yard, and production operations to help maintain an efficient daily workflow. The role operates equipment, tools, and material handling systems; performs housekeeping and cleanup; and assists with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs. The employee follows safety, environmental, and operational procedures while contributing to team production goals. The position requires physical work in an industrial environment. Work conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Successful candidates must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions require ongoing FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing.
