About The Position

As a Utility Person for the Subaru Sales Department, you will keep vehicles well-maintained, clean, and ready for delivery to customers. The position pays a competitive hourly wage and offers opportunities for advancement into other positions across the company.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Utility Persons may advance into roles such as Parts and Service Specialist or Diagnostic Specialist I. An Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology is required to qualify for a Diagnostic Specialist I position, so the company recommends pursuing this degree early if that is a career goal.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles of a variety of sizes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player with a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Wash and polish vehicles for customer delivery.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure a professional appearance.
• Organize vehicles on the lot and in the showroom according to dealership standards.
• Shuttle vehicles on the lot and assist with vehicle pick-up from the Vehicle Processing Center and other dealerships as needed.
• Organize the key board to ensure all vehicle keys are accounted for.
• Run errands as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
