About The Position

The General Production Aide assists the Environmental Services (EVS) team in maintaining a high standard of housekeeping service. The role performs daily cleaning and restocking in patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas, following the department's and Helen Keller Hospital's established procedures. Aides are expected to maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude toward customers.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Be willing to work in a team-structured environment.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work and manage effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• Attend work regularly and promptly.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in health care or a public lodging facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good attendance to support effective department operations.
• Start and end each workday in accordance with department policy and procedure.
• Perform an adequate share of the workload as determined by EVS leadership.
• Help meet housekeeping needs as measured by the average monthly overall room score target.
• Clean and restock patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
