About The Position

LV Petroleum is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead its Black Bear Diner. The role combines restaurant-industry experience and leadership to create a welcoming environment for guests. The General Manager oversees the restaurant’s operations and ensures high standards of service and food quality in a fast-paced setting, while managing teams and business performance.

Requirements

At least 3–5 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant or diner environment.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team and foster a culture of excellence.
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Strong commitment to high-quality dining experiences and excellent customer service.
Ability to think quickly and address daily operational challenges effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with guests, staff, and vendors.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations and maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
Lead, train, and motivate associates, fostering a positive work environment and exceptional dining experiences.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures to improve profitability.
Engage with customers, support a memorable guest experience, and address issues or feedback.
Collaborate with chefs on menu updates and special promotions.
Lead marketing efforts and promotions, including community events and outreach, to attract and retain customers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
