About The Position

LV Petroleum is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead Black Bear Diner. The General Manager oversees the restaurant’s operations and ensures high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness. The role combines restaurant leadership with responsibility for business performance, staff development, guest satisfaction, menu updates, marketing, and health and safety compliance.

Requirements

At least 3–5 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant or diner environment.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team and foster a culture of excellence.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Strong commitment to high-quality dining and excellent customer service.
Ability to think quickly and address day-to-day operational challenges effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with guests, staff, and vendors.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations and maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
Lead, train, and motivate associates while fostering a positive work environment.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures to improve profitability.
Engage with customers, support a memorable dining experience, and address issues or feedback.
Collaborate with chefs on menu updates and special promotions.
Drive marketing efforts and promotions, including community events and outreach, to attract and retain customers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
