About The Position

The General Manager leads restaurant operations through a team of managers and crew. The role demonstrates leadership by living Red Lobster’s principles, driving a culture of operational excellence focused on culinary, beverage, and service excellence, and creating an over-the-top crew experience.

Performance is measured by consistently delivering balanced results across guest, employee, process-excellence, and financial goals. The General Manager helps achieve sustainable growth in sales and profits through people, personal, business, and results leadership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 5 years of management experience in restaurant, hotel, retail, or general business.
• Demonstrated excellence in Service & Culinary Manager positions.
• For external candidates, a proven leadership and performance record of success as a casual dining/full-service Restaurant Manager.
• ServSafe and local and state regulatory certificates, or the ability to obtain them.
• Proficiency communicating verbally and in writing in English.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of consistent achievement of highly distinguished business results as a Restaurant Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree.
