About The Position

Are you a hands-on restaurant leader who thrives on building great teams and delivering exceptional service? We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our Wendy’s restaurant team in Elkins, WV. As General Manager, you will run the day-to-day operations, owning everything from guest experience and drive-thru speed to P&L results, food/labor cost controls, and team development. This is an active, in-position leadership role—working alongside your team on the floor to drive excellence, not managing from a back office.

Requirements

• 3+ years of General Manager experience in a fast-food or QSR environment with a drive-thru.
• Proven ability to manage a store P&L, understand food and labor costs, and act on performance metrics.
• A coaching mindset and a track record of working shoulder-to-shoulder with crew members to lead by example.
• ServSafe Certified (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work standard QSR hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Lead Restaurant Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations across all dayparts. Maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) standards, drive fast drive-thru times, and deliver Wendy's "A Cut Above" customer experience.
• Own the P&L: Manage sales performance, control food, labor, and paper costs, and drive controllable profit to hit target metrics.
• Develop Your Team: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor assistant managers, shift supervisors, and crew members to build strong internal bench strength for promotion.
• Maintain Brand & Safety Standards: Ensure food safety compliance, lead operational evaluations, and seamlessly execute new product rollouts and brand programs.
• Hit Bonus Targets: Drive sales growth, profit goals, and customer satisfaction metrics to maximize your quarterly bonus payouts.
