About The Position

With annual sales exceeding $3 million and a reputation built on consistency, quality, and guest experience, we are seeking a proven General Manager to lead the restaurant's continued growth and success. Howell's Kitchen & Bar is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of restaurant operations. This is an opportunity to join an established, successful restaurant and make a direct impact on its continued growth, culture, and financial performance. As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for restaurant operations, team development, guest satisfaction, profitability, and overall business performance. We are looking for a strong operator who leads from the floor, develops leaders, and takes ownership of results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant environment
  • Proven success leading high-volume restaurant operations
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, labor controls, food cost management, and restaurant financials
  • Experience developing and retaining management teams
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing restaurants with annual sales volumes of $3M+
  • Experience leading multi-department restaurant operations
  • Strong background in team development and operational systems
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, payroll, and restaurant management software

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing management team
  • Build a culture of accountability, hospitality, and operational excellence
  • Develop future leaders through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning
  • Lead by example and establish clear expectations for performance
  • Oversee all Front of House and Back of House operations
  • Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and safety
  • Maintain operational excellence through strong systems and procedures
  • Drive efficiency and consistency across all day-to-day operations
  • Manage labor costs, food costs, controllable expenses, and profitability
  • Analyze and respond to P&L performance on an ongoing basis
  • Drive sales growth while protecting margins
  • Execute action plans to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Create a hospitality-driven culture focused on guest satisfaction
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
  • Build guest loyalty and community engagement
  • Ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience
