About The Position

The General Manager leads the day-to-day operation of a Wendy’s restaurant in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a hands-on, in-position leadership role responsible for guest experience, drive-thru speed, food safety, food and labor costs, team development, and the store-level P&L. The General Manager serves as the restaurant’s leader, coach, and driving force, while upholding Wendy’s brand standards and operational goals.

Requirements

• Restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants and ideally in a drive-thru environment.
• Ability to build teams, develop people, and hold others accountable.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, labor management, and cost controls.
• Positive, hands-on leadership style and strong communication skills.
• Comfort making decisions and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants.
• Experience with a drive-thru.

Responsibilities

• Build, motivate, and develop a team focused on great food and outstanding guest service.
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members, and create opportunities for their advancement.
• Oversee daily operations, food safety, quality, cleanliness, and Wendy’s brand standards across all dayparts.
• Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and key financial metrics to achieve restaurant goals.
• Lead by example and ensure guests have a positive Wendy’s experience.
