About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; prepares products; and receives and processes telephone orders. The role also includes taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position involves processing customer orders in person and by telephone, entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and delivering products by car to customers’ doors. The General Manager also delivers flyers and door hangers and navigates the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and by telephone.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
