About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and financial performance. This role involves supervising managers and team members to ensure adherence to company policies, labor goals, and service standards. The General Manager plays a key role in developing a positive work culture, managing performance, and ensuring the facility is safe, secure, and healthy.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising managers to ensure correct opening/closing procedures and adherence to company and labor policies.
  • Overseeing managers and staff to achieve goals of order accuracy and exceptional guest service.
  • Supervising and controlling daily and weekly inventory, chicken counts, and waste.
  • Ensuring the management team maintains a professional, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Ensuring managers handle customer complaints effectively, intervening when necessary.
  • Assisting with operational duties to ensure daily/weekly cleaning schedules are met.
  • Responsible for creating weekly schedules and meeting labor goals.
  • Responsible for labor percentages.
  • Ensuring daily inventory is completed on all shifts.
  • Ensuring truck orders are made appropriately to meet food cost goals.
  • Taking or approving weekly inventory and ensuring accurate record-keeping with accurate cost of goods.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies with costs of goods.
  • Recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, and scheduling team members.
  • Responsible for all in-store cash handling.
  • Managing performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members, in conjunction with the District Manager.
  • Communicating job expectations, monitoring and reviewing employee performance, reviewing compensation, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Performing regular restaurant inspections to ensure team meets standards.
  • Providing a great culture and environment within the staff.
  • Correcting service issues with grace and courtesy to cultivate happy, returning customers.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation and safety procedures, complying with regulations, and maintaining security systems.
  • Responsible for the development of all in-store managers.
