About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also includes delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers.

The position requires accurate and quick basic arithmetic, making correct monetary change, processing orders by phone and in person, entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and communicating with customers and co-workers. Delivery work requires reading maps, locating addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigating varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.

Requirements

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
