About The Position
The General Manager is responsible for everything that happens during a shift, including cost, inventory, cash, food, staffing, paperwork, customer relations, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. The role requires setting a strong example, following all company policies and procedures, and expecting the same standards from the crew. It combines store operations and customer service with team direction and hands-on duties performed by store team members. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Requirements
- Ability to use judgment, perform math, and multitask.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record meeting company standards for delivery duties.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to perform the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee everything that happens during the shift.
- Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, and inventory control.
- Work to a schedule and maintain a perfect image while adhering to standards.
- Provide great customer service and maintain customer relations.
- Ensure attendance and punctuality, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
- Set an example by following all policies and procedures and expecting the same from the crew.
- Operate equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Deliver products by car to customers and deliver flyers and door hangers.
