The General Manager is responsible for everything that happens during a shift, including cost, inventory, and cash controls and customer relations. The manager sets an example for the crew, follows company policies and procedures, and expects the same from team members. Duties span staffing, paperwork, food management, scheduling, standards and store image, customer service, attendance, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. The role also includes general store-team work such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, handling telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The posting describes delivery-related tasks and requirements as part of the broader team-member duties, including delivering products and flyers and using an insured vehicle. The work may involve standing and walking for much of the day, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Conditions can include varying weather, a wide range of in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
