The General Manager is responsible for everything that happens during their shift at a Domino’s Pizza store, including cost, inventory, and cash controls, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, food management, scheduling, store image and standards, customer service, attendance, cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. The manager is expected to set an example, follow all company policies and procedures, and ensure the crew does the same. The role includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position requires communication, basic math, accurate monetary change-making, computer or touchscreen order entry, and the ability to direct activities, make decisions, and work under stress, independently and with others. The work involves standing for most tasks, walking short distances, completing paperwork while seated, handling and moving supplies, and occasional climbing, bending, squatting, and reaching. It may involve lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, repetitive hand and arm use, hot surfaces and tools, food odors and cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, and varying temperatures and weather. The job description also includes delivery-specific duties and qualifications: driving products to customers, distributing flyers and door hangers, holding a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and having access to an insured vehicle usable for deliveries.
