ARK Hospitality is seeking a hands-on, service-driven General Manager to lead operations at Everhome Suites Cheyenne. Located just minutes from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Downtown Cheyenne, and major government, healthcare, and business centers, Everhome Suites serves military personnel, project-based workers, healthcare professionals, government travelers, and guests seeking apartment-style accommodations for extended stays. Requirements

  • Previous hotel leadership experience as: General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Department Head
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest-service standards.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor expenses, and financial performance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee-development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with guests, employees, owners, vendors, and community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of hotel operations including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry, Guest Services, and overall property performance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Create a positive, service-focused culture centered on accountability and hospitality.
  • Meet daily with department leaders and team members to review priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the hotel and actively engage with guests and employees.
  • Conduct team meetings, performance discussions, coaching sessions, and development planning.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning efforts.
  • Ensure all departments are operating efficiently while maintaining brand and company standards.
  • Manage hotel budgets, forecasting, payroll, labor costs, and operational expenses.
  • Maximize hotel revenue and profitability opportunities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including: Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, Labor Productivity, Guest Satisfaction, Profitability.
  • Review financial reports and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Manage purchasing controls, expense management, and inventory oversight.
  • Ensure proper banking, cash-handling, and administrative procedures are followed.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service standards across all departments.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and service recovery situations.
  • Monitor online reviews, guest satisfaction scores, and reputation-management platforms.
  • Create an environment that encourages repeat business and long-term guest loyalty.
  • Ensure extended-stay guests receive consistent support throughout their stay.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces regularly.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with Choice Hotels brand standards.
  • Support emergency preparedness and life-safety programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support local sales initiatives that drive occupancy, ADR, and long-term room-night production.
  • Build relationships within the Cheyenne community and with key demand generators.
  • Develop relationships with: Military organizations, Government agencies, Construction companies, Healthcare providers, Corporate employers, Relocation companies, Community organizations.
  • Partner with sales and revenue-management teams to maximize hotel performance.
  • Actively participate in community events, networking activities, and local business engagement opportunities.
