About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented General Manager for the Marriott Nashville Airport. The role leads hotel operations in accordance with the company’s service culture, prioritizing the needs of internal and external stakeholders and supporting a respectful, authentic, and inclusive workplace. The General Manager oversees financial performance, staffing, guest experience, property condition, safety, compliance, and adherence to brand standards. The position also performs other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Financial savvy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

Manage budgets and financial plans and control expenditures.
Maintain statistical and financial records.
Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
Respond to and resolve guest concerns appropriately.
Address problems and troubleshoot.
Ensure events and conferences run smoothly.
Preserve hotel assets, including supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
Conduct appropriate property inspections as identified by the organization and brand.
Ensure the property meets brand guidelines, service expectations, and all standards.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements, and other statutory regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
