About The Position

At Love’s, Operations Managers assist with and oversee daily operations to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. They lead teams, manage processes, and execute strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals. This role offers the opportunity to make an impact in a supportive team environment. The position has hands-on responsibility for multiple business operations, potentially including a retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care. It supports the General Manager in executing and completing tasks, maintaining schedules and cash integrity, and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports. The role also involves understanding financial reports, analyzing profit and loss statements, and making changes to capture business opportunities.

Requirements

At least 2 years of management experience in retail, a travel stop or convenience store, big-box retail, grocery, or a department store.
At least 2 years managing operations with annual sales volume of $2 million or more.
At least 2 years of experience affecting and deciphering budgets and profit and loss statements.
At least 2 years supervising and training 5–10 or more employees.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT physical.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Effective teamwork skills.
Ability to use computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
Ability to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
Ability to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple business operations, potentially including a retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, including restrooms, showers, facilities, and equipment, and conduct safety checks.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
Assist the General Manager with task execution and completion, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Analyze profit and loss statements and make changes to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
Collaborate with managers on talent acquisition.
Lead, supervise, and train employees.
Support customer satisfaction through effective operations and employee-vehicle deployment.
