About The Position

World Courier, Cencora’s global logistics and storage services business, is seeking a General Manager - Brokerage for North America. This senior regional leadership role is responsible for leading and developing the Brokerage service line, with accountability for performance, team leadership, operational execution, customer outcomes, and growth. The role combines commercial leadership, operational management, service-line development, and customs and regulatory oversight.

The successful candidate will help shape Brokerage’s next phase of growth in North America by strengthening the customer proposition, improving scalability and service consistency, and positioning the business for effective regional growth. The role calls for a leader with sector experience in logistics, freight forwarding, specialty logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a similarly complex service-led operating environment. It is not limited to a hands-on customs specialist profile; leaders from adjacent areas of the sector are also sought.

The General Manager will balance growth ambitions with service quality, operational efficiency, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. They will build team capability and accountability, work closely with commercial and functional partners, and maintain effective customs compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory oversight across the region.

Requirements

• Proven senior leadership, general management, or service-line leadership experience in logistics, freight forwarding, brokerage, specialty logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a similarly complex service-led operating environment.
• Meaningful experience within a relevant sector rather than solely a generalist commercial or corporate background.
• Strong experience with P&L management, commercial strategy, and revenue growth in a sector-relevant operating environment.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams in a service-driven, operationally complex business.
• Experience improving service delivery, efficiency, scalability, and performance in a logistics or supply chain setting.
• Ability to build strong partnerships across commercial, operational, and functional stakeholders.
• Confidence operating in a regulated environment where compliance, customer service, and business performance must work together.
• Strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and credibility to lead at pace in a visible regional role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Brokerage business across North America, with accountability for service-line performance, team leadership, operational execution, and future growth.
• Drive the commercial agenda by identifying opportunities to expand revenue, strengthen the customer offering, and increase market impact.
• Balance growth ambitions with service quality, operational efficiency, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide visible leadership to regional teams and build a culture of accountability, engagement, development, and high performance.
• Develop the brokerage service line so it is scalable, competitive, operationally effective, and aligned with broader business priorities.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Compliance, BI, Training, and global stakeholders to align brokerage priorities with broader business goals.
• Improve service consistency, process effectiveness, and organizational capability across the North America brokerage network.
• Oversee third-party and outsourced brokerage relationships where relevant, ensuring strong performance, effective partnership, and alignment with business standards.
• Maintain a strong framework for customs compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory oversight across the region.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
