About The Position

Sodexo Healthcare is seeking an experienced General Manager 2 – Multi Service to lead Food Services with limited Environmental Services oversight at Monadnock Community Hospital. This role is ideal for a polished food-focused operator with strong culinary acumen, financial discipline, and people leadership experience who is seeking better work-life balance than traditional restaurant environments while still operating at a high level of service and professionalism. This position oversees a team of approximately 45 direct reports and is heavily weighted toward Food Service operations, including patient dining, retail, and culinary execution, with minimal EVS responsibility.

Requirements

  • Strong Food Service operations leadership background, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or upscale dining.
  • Proven experience managing large frontline teams (40+ associates).
  • Solid culinary knowledge and execution skills; culinary training or hands-on leadership experience preferred.
  • High level of administrative strength, including labor controls, financial acumen, and operational reporting.
  • Minimal EVS experience required – training and support provided.
  • Experience as an upscale restaurant General Manager valued, - candidates seeking improved quality of life.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years minimum management experience
  • 5 years minimum functional experience

  • Culinary training or hands-on leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day Food Service operations in a healthcare environment, ensuring quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  • Provide visible leadership to a team of ~45 employees, driving engagement, accountability, and a culture of service excellence.
  • Maintain high culinary standards, menu execution, presentation, and food quality across patient and retail services.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including labor management, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (Joint Commission, ServSafe, client, and Sodexo policies).
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical partners, and Sodexo support teams to support overall site success.
  • Provide light oversight and coordination of Environmental Services, with primary operational focus remaining on Food Services.
