About The Position
Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice in the Cincinnati, Ohio office. The ideal candidate has eight to fifteen years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials, along with strong research and writing skills. Admission to the Ohio State Bar is required. The firm's General Liability Practice includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and represents defendants in significant-exposure general liability matters. Its work includes defending businesses and individuals, insured or self-insured, in property and personal injury claims. The practice handles a wide range of matters and focuses particularly on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation. Its partners and senior associates are experienced trial attorneys.
Requirements
- Eight to fifteen years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Admission to the Ohio State Bar.
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
- Handle hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
