About The Position

Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm focused on understanding and meeting clients’ needs and interests. Its Woodbridge Office in Iselin, New Jersey, is seeking a General Liability Associate to join its growing team. This is a hybrid position. The salary range is $130,000–$150,000; actual compensation depends on factors including experience and qualifications. The associate will evaluate new files, communicate with clients, handle discovery, conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and prepare and argue motions. The role also involves attending pretrial listings, motions, and trials, and handling substantive and dispositive pretrial and post-trial motions and appeals. Requirements

Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved law school.
Active license in good standing in New Jersey.
At least 3 years of New Jersey general liability litigation experience.
Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent time management, strong organizational, and outstanding communication skills.
Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

Admission to the New York Bar.
New York general liability litigation experience.
Experience in New Jersey and New York commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability.
Trial experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.
