About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice in its Edwardsville, Illinois office. The practice includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and represents businesses and individuals in general liability matters, including property and personal injury claims. The group handles a wide range of matters and focuses on litigating and trying catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex cases. Its partners and senior associates are experienced trial attorneys, and the practice has received notable recognition for its defense verdicts. The firm is open to candidates with insurance defense experience as well as developing attorneys with strong skills in other litigation areas. Requirements

Strong research and writing skills.
Two to seven years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery, as well as hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Substantive litigation experience.
Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred; candidates willing to become admitted to the Illinois Bar will also be considered.

Responsibilities
