About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice in its Indianapolis, Indiana office. The practice includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and represents insured and self-insured businesses and individuals in significant-exposure general liability matters, including property and personal injury claims. The group handles a wide range of cases and focuses particularly on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation. Its partners and senior associates are experienced trial attorneys, and the practice has received notable recognition for defense verdicts. The ideal candidate has strong research and writing skills and experience in insurance defense litigation. Attorneys with substantive litigation experience in other areas are also encouraged to apply, including developing attorneys with excellent litigation skills.

Requirements

Admission to the Indiana State Bar.
Trial or courtroom experience.
Strong research and writing skills.
Two to fifteen years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.

Responsibilities
