About The Position

The General Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining the yard and surrounding facilities. The role includes maintaining the yard and recycling buildings, clearing debris and trash from customer and equipment areas, processing tire and wheel assemblies, and performing on-site setup, preparation, and cleanup. The employee must work outdoors in varying weather conditions and follow all safety policies and procedures. Training and equipment are provided. Previous experience is beneficial but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
• Ability to stand and be on one's feet for long periods; walk; use hands; and talk or hear.
• Ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds; lifting devices or assistance are required for heavier merchandise.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is beneficial but not required.
