About The Position

National Assemblers provides professional assembly services to large retail stores across the country. The Helper assists trained and Certified Assembly Technicians by opening, unpackaging, and organizing a minimum of eight items per hour, including items such as bikes and grills. Helpers are paid $15.00 per hour or the minimum wage in their home state, whichever is higher. The company states that there is room for growth and that it seeks to advance strong performers.

Requirements

• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have reliable personal transportation for local and out-of-town travel and be responsible for getting to work every day.
• Must have regular internet access and access the company website daily.
• A PC or laptop is necessary to access all website features; smartphones and tablets are acceptable for most website applications if they have regular internet access.
• Able to work well with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel.
• Flexible in response to changes during the workday.
• Professional conduct and excellent communication skills.
• Hardworking, honest, dedicated, responsible, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist trained and Certified Assembly Technicians.
• Open, unpack, and organize a minimum of eight items per hour for the Assembly Technician.
• Travel to work locations, including out-of-town locations when required.
• Access the company website daily for scheduling, work order processing, and payment records.
• Work cooperatively with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel.
• Maintain professional conduct and communicate effectively.
