About The Position

National Assemblers provides professional assembly services to large retail stores across the country. The General Laborer (Helper) assists trained and certified Assembly Technicians by opening, unpackaging, and organizing at least eight items per hour, including items such as bikes and grills. Helpers are paid $15.00 per hour or the minimum wage in their home state, whichever is higher. The company describes opportunities for growth and advancement.

Out-of-town travel may be regularly required, although efforts are made to keep travel within a local area of 5–50 miles.

Requirements

• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have reliable personal transportation for local and out-of-town travel and be responsible for getting to work each day.
• Regular internet access is required.
• Must access the company website daily as part of the job.
• A PC or laptop is needed to access all website features; smartphones and tablets are acceptable for most website applications when they have regular internet access.

Responsibilities

• Assist trained and certified Assembly Technicians.
• Open, unpack, and organize a minimum of eight items per hour, including items such as bikes and grills.
• Travel to work locations using reliable personal transportation, including out-of-town locations when required.
• Access the company website daily for scheduling, work order processing, and payment records.
• Work cooperatively with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel.
