About The Position

National Assemblers provides professional assembly services to large retail stores across the country. The Helper assists trained and Certified Assembly Technicians by opening, unpackaging, and organizing a minimum of 8 items per hour, including items such as bikes and grills. Helpers are paid $15.00 per hour or the minimum wage of their home state, whichever is higher. The company describes opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Have reliable personal transportation for local and out-of-town travel and be responsible for getting to work every day.
• Regular internet access.
• Ability to access the company website daily; a PC or laptop is necessary for all website features, while a smartphone or tablet is acceptable for most applications if it has regular internet access.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work well with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel.
• Flexible, professional, and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist trained and Certified Assembly Technicians.
• Open, unpack, and organize a minimum of 8 items per hour.
• Travel to work locations, including out-of-town locations when required.
• Access the company website daily for scheduling, work order processing, and payment records.
• Work cooperatively with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel.
• Remain flexible about changes that may occur during the workday and conduct oneself professionally.
