General Laborer

About The Position
The General Laborer safely moves, builds, and tears down displays; relocates or adjusts displayed stock; replaces shelf pricing labels; places products and signage; builds displays when needed without planograms; cleans fixtures or store areas; and retrieves and organizes store equipment. Assignments may range from 0 to 40 hours per week depending on work volume, travel distance, and willingness to accept other available projects. The stated pay is $18.00 per hour. W2 employment is offered.
Requirements
- Proficient using up-to-date phones and modern technology.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the job.
- Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive bending for up to 8–10 hours a day.
- Able to pull, push, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on a ladder up to 20 feet off the ground.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred 1+ month of experience in retail, merchandising, or a related skill set in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Safely move, build, and tear down displays.
- Relocate or adjust the position of stock currently on display.
- Re-label shelves with new pricing labels.
- Place products, signage, and stickers, and build displays when needed without planograms.
- Clean and remove debris from fixtures or store areas.
- Retrieve and organize store equipment.
