About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at a poultry processing facility. The role requires working with and around heavy machinery and sharp objects, including knives, in a damp or wet environment. The successful candidate must maintain a safe work environment and follow Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants may be considered for general labor openings across shifts and departments, including Evisceration, debone, further processing, and packing. Work may involve temperatures from 48 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The role requires standing for 8 to 10 hours per day and performing repetitive physical activities. Candidates must be willing to work at elevated heights and work weekends and overtime if scheduled. The ability to perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is required. Rehires are not being accepted.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 40 pounds at any given time.
Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours per day.
Must be willing and able to perform repetitive walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Must be willing to perform some jobs at elevated heights.
Must be willing to work weekends and overtime if scheduled.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
