About The Position

The General Labor position assists operators at various machine centers throughout the plant and fills in for employees performing different tasks when they are absent. This is a full-time, third-shift production role in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people. The position supports safe and efficient equipment operation, quality inspections, housekeeping, communication and reporting requirements, and miscellaneous projects.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety policies and procedures while performing job duties.
• Maintain established efficiency rates while operating assigned equipment.
• Complete required quality inspections according to customer specifications and complete the related paperwork.
• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
• Help maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.
• Understand and follow department communication systems, schedules, time and attendance systems, and job reporting requirements.
• Work on miscellaneous specific projects.
• Assist with double-feed orders.
