General Labor I - 2nd & 3rd Shift

About The Position

General Labor I roles are available throughout the company’s manufacturing facilities. Previous manufacturing experience is not required; a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment are important. Depending on the assignment, work may include mixing products, weighing or scaling materials, packaging materials, or supplying production lines. Employees must be reliable and follow applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), which vary by location and product. For example, artificial nails or eyelashes, nail polish, and jewelry may not be permitted while producing or packaging food products. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Starting pay is $21.45 per hour, with a shift differential offered for second- and third-shift opportunities. Full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package after a qualifying period.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have sufficient math skills.
Must be able to understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to stand and work with hands throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.
Must work cooperatively and communicate respectfully and professionally in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience is not required.
Knowledge of GMPs, or willingness to learn.
Ability to read and write in English is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect products for quality and signs of foreign-material contamination.
Supply production lines as needed.
Place products correctly on production lines or in containers, boxes, or pallets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies and procedures.
