About The Position

Maker's Pride is hiring general labor employees for openings throughout its manufacturing facilities. Previous manufacturing experience is not needed; employees should have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a team environment. Assigned work may include mixing products, weighing or scaling material, packaging material, or supplying production lines. Employees must be reliable and follow industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Requirements may vary by location; for example, artificial nails or eyelashes, nail polish, and jewelry may be prohibited while producing or packaging food products.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. The position is in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various machines, noise levels, and temperatures. Employees must be able to work together and communicate respectfully and professionally. Overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as work across shifts, may be necessary.

Starting pay is $21.45 per hour, with a shift differential offered for second- and third-shift opportunities. Requirements

• A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of GMPs or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and work with hands throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, and across shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and write in English is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for quality and signs of foreign material contamination.
• Supply production lines as needed.
• Place product correctly on lines or in containers, boxes, or pallets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies and procedures.
