About The Position

The Packer & Jogger Operator supports manufacturing operations by preparing, inspecting, packaging, and moving printed materials and finished labels. The role helps ensure products meet quality standards and production processes remain safe and efficient. Employees may have opportunities to grow into skilled manufacturing and equipment operator positions within MCC.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to spend the full shift standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent walking, use of hands, reaching, talking, and hearing; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

• Manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Jog printed materials according to customer specifications and prepare materials for cutting and finishing operations.
• Inspect printed and finished labels to ensure quality standards are met.
• Band, shrink wrap, package, and palletize finished labels for shipment.
• Assemble corrugated boxes, trays, and other packaging materials.
• Operate pallet jacks and move materials throughout the production area.
• Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and organization standards.
• Support an optimized production environment through Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Comply with established safety, quality, GMP, BRC, HACCP, and company procedures.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and support a positive team environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
