About The Position

The Packer & Jogger Operator supports manufacturing operations by preparing, inspecting, packaging, and moving printed materials and finished labels. The role helps ensure product quality while supporting safe and efficient production. It can provide a path to skilled manufacturing and equipment operator roles within MCC.

Requirements

• Ability to spend the full shift standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including frequent walking and occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Jog printed materials to customer specifications and prepare materials for cutting and finishing operations.
• Inspect printed and finished labels to ensure quality standards are met.
• Band, shrink wrap, package, and palletize finished labels for shipment.
• Assemble corrugated boxes, trays, and other packaging materials.
• Operate pallet jacks and move materials throughout the production area.
• Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and organization standards.
• Support an optimized production environment through Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Comply with established safety, quality, GMP, BRC, HACCP, and company procedures.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and support a positive team environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
