About The Position

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a General Laborer for its food processing facility in Lowville, New York. The position performs general production duties in packaging or processing areas while following strict food quality, sanitation, and safety standards. Employees are expected to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and contribute suggestions and ideas for improving the facility. Workdays may fluctuate according to production needs, and the schedule is based on production operating seven days per week.

Requirements

High school diploma, equivalent experience, or GED.
Strong communication skills.
Ability and willingness to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to accommodate workdays that may fluctuate from week to week based on production.
Safety- and quality-oriented, adaptable, and willing to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties across packaging or processing areas and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Enter data in SAP accurately.
Follow site rules, ways of working, processes, and procedures.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Complete assigned work in a timely manner.
Participate as a member of the team.
Clean and sanitize equipment and machinery according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program.
Ensure manufactured products meet applicable Quality Assurance Program standards and policies.
Follow Kraft Heinz safety processes and LOTO policies and procedures, and protect oneself and others from harm.
Provide suggestions and ideas for facility improvements.
