About The Position

Basalite Building Products, LLC is a manufacturer of concrete masonry products and a member of the Pacific Coast Building Products Family of Companies. The General Labor, Secondary Operations position supports all areas of production under the supervision of the Secondary Operations Supervisor. The role includes operating and adjusting equipment, feeding production lines, checking product quality, and maintaining a clean work area. The employee is expected to support the company’s Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation, and Financial Success, attend safety meetings, follow safety requirements, and report hazardous conditions. Other related duties may be assigned. This is a regular, full-time position offering $20.00–$21.50 per hour, depending on experience, and requires open shift availability, including shift rotations and weekends.

Requirements

Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
On-the-job training experience to perform the duties.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to operate a splitter, cuber, forklift, and other equipment required for the duties.
Predictable and regular attendance, with availability for shift rotations, including weekends.
Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, talking/listening, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, occasional bending, and lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
Adjust equipment for the product being produced.
Feed production lines.
Check material for proper quality.
Clean the work area.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company or its designated representatives.
Attend safety meetings and follow company and governmental safety rules.
Ensure hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Maintain predictable and regular attendance and be available for shift rotations, including weekends.
