If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery - 2nd Shift to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery - 2nd Shift, you will be accountable for ensuring finished products are packaged, labeled, and distributed according to quality and food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining production efficiency, product integrity, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand basic work instructions in English and/or Spanish.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and product specifications.
  • Ability to accurately complete production records and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely operate packaging equipment following established procedures.
  • Ability to work in cold environments, including freezer storage areas.
  • Commitment to food safety, product quality, and workplace safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an automated or semi-automated packaging environment.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, bakery production, or consumer packaged goods operations.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience operating packaging and material-handling equipment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
  • Package products according to established specifications and case pack requirements.
  • Verify product coding, labeling, and pallet identification accuracy.
  • Operate packaging and material-handling equipment to support production efficiency.
  • Palletize and transfer finished goods to designated storage locations.
  • Maintain packaging materials and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards while completing required documentation.
