About The Position

The General Helper performs miscellaneous work to support operations in the Extrusion department in Chandler, Arizona. The position involves assisting production crews, transporting materials and equipment, reporting production data, and fulfilling job assignments. Work may include operating industrial trucks and cranes; measuring metal dimensions using steel tape, micrometers, and other measuring devices; cutting samples; setting up and operating production equipment; inspecting metal and materials; and recording process and metal-flow data using computer terminals. The role requires availability to work evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime. Materials handled include aluminum products, lumber, paper, foil, oil, and rack bolts. Tools and equipment include a hand truck and miscellaneous hand tools such as a hammer, wrench, pry bar, and tongs.

Requirements

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
• Be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required government authorizations for access to controlled technology. Business demands may require proceeding only with candidates immediately eligible for such access.
• Some high school education.
• Pass a physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime.

• Two years of work experience in an industrial setting.
• Equivalent military experience is accepted.
