About The Position

The General Maintenance Helper at Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i provides maintenance and repair services for hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. The role responds promptly and professionally to maintenance issues to support guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards. The position requires working technical knowledge of general building maintenance and availability for varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Availability for scheduled days and times that may vary based on business needs; weekends and holidays availability is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push or pull as needed during shifts.
• Working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering work areas and hotel spaces.
• Perform painting, sanding, staining, and light carpentry tasks.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs of equipment such as motors, breakers, and chillers.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas.
• Assist in emergency responses, including fire alarms and power outages.
• Help transport and manage parts, tools, and materials as needed.
