About The Position

The General Helper 3 loads ovens, fills bakery racks with bread and bun pans, moves racks into and out of the proof box, and pushes or pulls pan carts to the bread and bun conveyor. The role also involves loading and unloading empty pans from the conveyor and performing other duties as assigned. The work is performed in a fast-paced, hot and humid environment and requires physical activity, safe work practices, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Capable of working in a high-heat environment.
• Willingness to learn food safety and sanitation.
• Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of following safe work practices.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must complete a post-offer background check, physical, drug/alcohol screen, and lifting assessment.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry bread or bun pans weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push bread or bun pan carts to the conveyor.
• Capable of performing repetitive work.
• Must be able to tolerate working in a hot, humid environment.

Responsibilities

• Load the oven.
• Fill bakery racks with bread and bun pans.
• Move bread and bun racks into and out of the proof box.
• Push or pull pan carts to the bread and bun conveyor.
• Load and unload empty pans on and off the conveyor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
