General Dentist w/ Signing Bonus
About The Position
Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children. The dentist will instruct staff on assisting with patient treatment and educate patients and caregivers about preventive practices. This position reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services. The role offers a daily pay range of $800–$1,200, with a signing bonus and relocation assistance available up to the amounts stated in the posting. The dentist may also be asked to perform other duties that support the business and its mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
Requirements
- State dental license in good standing.
- Strong interest in working with children.
- Ability to acquire or maintain a Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks correctly and on time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care and service by responding promptly to the needs of patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and provide appropriate treatment and necessary procedures.
- Educate patients and caregivers about all aspects of treatment and stay informed about current dental treatment techniques.
- Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers about the services offered.
- Help children and caregivers develop strong oral health habits.
- Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients in the community.
- Participate in team activities and communications, including morning huddles, provider meetings, company events, and email communications.
- Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
- Instruct staff on how to assist in patient treatment.
