About The Position

Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children. The dentist will instruct staff on assisting with patient treatment and educate patients and caregivers about preventive practices. The position reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services. The stated pay range is $800–$1,200 per day, with a signing bonus of up to $25,000. The role supports the organization’s mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children. The dentist may also be asked to perform other duties that support the business and its mission.

Requirements

Hold a state dental license in good standing.
Have a strong interest in working with children.
Be able to acquire or maintain a Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to handle a diverse workload.
Be able to multitask and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care and service by responding promptly to the needs of patients, caregivers, and team members.
Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and provide appropriate treatment and necessary procedures.
Educate patients and caregivers about all aspects of treatment and stay informed about current dental treatment techniques.
Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers about the services offered.
Help children and caregivers develop excellent oral health habits.
Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients in the community.
Participate in team activities and communications, including morning huddles, provider meetings, company events, and email communications.
Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
Instruct staff on how to assist with patient treatment.
