About The Position

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. They perform a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the facility’s daily upkeep and cleanliness. The role involves working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and requires reliable transportation and a background check. The position is part-time.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Background check required.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand extensively for the duration of the shift.
Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within established production and service time frames.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.
High school degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, vacuum, and extract carpets.
Strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish outdoor areas within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and remove snow and ice.
Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
