About The Position
Office Pride is hiring a dependable Floater / Flexible Cleaner to cover school cleaning shifts near the 46163, 46140, and 46229 areas. The role fills recently opened positions until a new hire is hired, and then trains that new hire. Once trained, the cleaner typically works independently at an assigned location, follows established routines, and takes responsibility for keeping the building clean and presentable. The schedule is four hours per night, with shifts filled within 30 minutes of the employee’s home. Pay starts at $15 per hour for 30 days, increases to $15.50 per hour for the next 30 days, and reaches $16 per hour at the 60-day mark. Training is provided, and supplies and equipment are already onsite. Additional hours and advancement may be available. Some locations may offer optional paid laundering of cleaning towels.
Requirements
- Be dependable and arrive as scheduled.
- Be comfortable working independently.
- Notice details and take pride in leaving spaces clean.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Live near the 46163, 46140, or 46229 area.
Responsibilities
- Fill in for recently opened cleaning roles until a replacement is hired.
- Train the new hire once someone is hired for the covered role.
- Vacuum and perform floor care.
- Clean restrooms.
- Remove trash.
- Dust and perform general cleaning.
- Restock supplies.
- Optionally launder cleaning towels at locations where this is offered.
