About The Position

Programmed Cleaning Inc. is seeking a part-time General Cleaner to clean and maintain an office building in the Milwaukee area. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. General Cleaners maintain the cleanliness of their assigned buildings or areas by performing a variety of cleaning duties. The cleaner must communicate well, be detail-oriented, work independently, and be flexible in completing tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager. Job duties and assigned areas may be modified at any time at the discretion of the customer or manager. The employee must follow company safety standards and procedures. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities

Dust surfaces, including desktops, cabinet tops, and partitions.
Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport them to the designated disposal area.
Sweep and mop hard-surfaced floors.
Vacuum floors using an upright vacuum and/or vac paks.
Spot clean carpet.
Clean glass areas.
Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces.
Clean restrooms and maintain supplies, ensuring restrooms are stocked.
Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager; duties and assigned areas may be modified based on customer or manager discretion.
Follow company safety standards and procedures.
