About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member in 4M Building Solutions’ janitorial services operations. The role involves cleaning and disinfecting facilities using 4M’s practices, green-seal certified supplies, and equipment. Team Members are expected to be reliable, courteous, and resourceful while helping maintain clean facilities and reporting issues they notice. The description is representative, and duties may vary.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at an hourly rate of $15.00. The position reports to an Account Supervisor or Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s best practices is provided.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M’s practices, green-seal certified supplies, and equipment.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
• Be friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful when representing 4M.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
